Location of our Holiday Cottage

The cottage and Locrio lie just off the D130 Pontivy to Persquen road.

From Roscoff head towards Morlaix, getting closer to Morlaix follow the signs for Lorient.

After passing Gourin turn east towards Plouray, pass through in the direction Guemene/Pontivy. On approaching Guemene follow the signs for Pontivy for 3 miles, then turn right towards Guern where after 2 miles you turn right (west) onto the D130 and Locrio is about 1 miles beyond.

From Cherbourg, Caen or St Malo head for Pontivy centre, cross the river Blavet to find the D130 to Persquen heading west and after about 10 miles you will arrive at Locrio.

Ferries     

The Plymouth to Roscoff ferry takes 6 to 6.5 hours and Roscoff is about 80 miles away from the cottage (under two hours) – whilst the Plymouth to Cherbourg or Caen ferry varies from 3 hours (high speed catamaran) to 6 hours and Cherbourg is exactly 200 miles away – under 4 hours.

Portsmouth to St Malo ferry is overnight only outgoing and takes about 9 hours on the return journey but St Malo is only 80 miles away.

Remember the time in France is 1 hour ahead of U.K. time.
