Located in Pontivy this excellent Chinese Restaurant is an absolute must try, and is a million miles away from the poor food and tacky interiors of too many a "British" Chinese restaurant.

Inside the atmosphere is delightfully Chinese without feeling cheap. The hosts are extremely friendly and if you are having trouble with your French one of the waiters speaks good English.

A 3 course meal for 2 people has in the past worked out between about £35-£45 pounds including a couple of drinks each (table wine) making this an affordable evening.

Some must trys include:

Soupe Piquant Pekinoise - If you like Chinese soups this is the best i have ever tasted. This "hot and sour" soup will quite literally have you sweating but is absolutely beautiful.

Crevettes a la Imperiale - Crevettes with tail on in a spicy flavour sauce. Ensure you squeeze every last bit out of the tail!

Boeuf aux Champignons Noir/Bambou de Pousse - My Favourite! Beef with black mushrooms and bamboo shoots. I seem to end up ordering this at least once when i'm in France.

Top Tip - If your undecided about what to pick, order a plate of rice (riz de cantonais) or noodles each and then pick a main dish each and share as each dish comes on its own seperate plate. If your feeling hungry 3 dishes between 2 is perfectly acceptable...at least thats what i tell myself!
